Earrings--Porcelain, Dangle--SHORT, Many colors (Red Chair Studio)

I AM IN LOVE. These earrings are art on your ears. Each set is a miracle of color and pattern and beauty. Even the golden ear wire adds to the look by gracefully looping through the pendant piece and slipping right through the ear lobe. The pendant has weight but is not heavy. Bisque-fired and hand-painted. Handmade in Rhode Island by a RISD graduate. 

Materials: porcelain; gold-filled wires or hypo-allergenic stainless steel posts. 

The "arch" style comes in both a tall and short version. The short arch measures 3/4 inch high with a 2" drop. The short version comes in pink, purple and turquoise. 

Moroccan tiles are made of hand rolled porcelain clay. First each piece is cut, edges smoothed and then the hole is drilled. Then, the dried porcelain pieces are bisque-fired. Once fired, each piece is painstakingly hand-printed and painted with underglaze, then glazed and fired a second time. Out of the kiln, the gold-filled ear wires and jump rings are added.

Bloom also carries the tall version of the "Hydrangea" style (Aqua, Turquoise, Lime and Purple). In addition, Bloom carries the tall version in "Poppy" (Orange, Peach, Yellow) and "Leaf Print" (Hydrangea Blue, Jade Green). The tall version measures 1 inch high.
