The artist scours thrift shops and yard sales to source these materials for your one-of-a-kind mittens. Mittens are fully lined and professionally constructed by the artist who has 30+ years of sewing experience and lives in a smoke-free home. So let's take up the mantra of this artist: "reduce waste and increase taste." 

HandCandy Mittens is a cottage industry based in northern New York State. HandCandy makes mittens, hats and scarves from recycled sweaters in an effort to help reduce, reuse and recycle.
